Watercolor Exercises - Wall Art

These exercises are presented in the order of complexity showing progressive exploration of a variety of introductory watercolor techniques that are easily accessible to anyone no matter how inexperienced. As I do not ask any of my students to do something I cannot do myself, and to encourage along the way, and to gain a deeper understanding of this elusive medium, and because I am first and foremost eternally a student, and that without a beginner's mind I am nothing as an artist, (are you still with me) I will upload completed assignments which are available at very low prices. The tutorials are from Yuko Nagayama using almost entirely Holbein Watercolors, a now Japanese company presented by a Japanese artist with a background in traditional Chinese/Japanese watercolors, a book arguably lovely for all its awkward machine translation and sloppy editing. Many consider Holbein to be the best manufacturer of watercolors in the modern world.
