The print is much darker in person. It looks like an underexposed photo and hard to make out any detail on the bottom half of the print. Paper quality is good. Fast shipping.

Yello Lily in Crystal Vase in a still life with multicolored satin and silk cloths on a dark blue glass table, a fluted champagne glass with absinthe, grapes in blown glass on the side, sea shells, blue pearls, apple and lemon, a 24 by almost 16 inch realistic watercolor built up in repeated glazes and detailed with egg tempera.
About Xavier Francois Hussenet
I have been drawing and painting as far back as I can remember with a child's interest gothic architecture and sweeping swaths of red taffeta. I have had only a few classes in drawing and painting. I love watercolors because I am working with water over which I rarely have any control and which constantly challenges me to adapt. Nothing can replace the brilliant luminosity of paper coming through successive washes of pigments subject to the rules of water and gravity that the artist carefully orchestrates, if he is even a little successful, into an atmospheric illusion of unparalleled clarity and enchantment.
